Starters & salads — Plan de Campagne

Starters & salads,
to open the meal

Before the fine cut of beef, the first act. In Plan de Campagne, opposite the cinema, L'Entrecôte de Dubaï opens the meal with generous starters and fresh salads, between French bistro tradition and oriental flavours.

The first act

Whetting
the appetite

A fine table begins before the rib-eye. Our starters set the tone for a generous meal: produce handled with care, clean plating, that assumed blend of French bistro and Levantine accents that is the house signature.

Foie gras with chutney, wagyu carpaccio, honey-roasted camembert or smoked burrata: each one shares or keeps to itself, as you please. You nibble, you taste, you ease into the meal.

The starters

What opens the show

A few signatures to begin — generous, honest, made for sharing in Plan de Campagne.

Foie gras & chutney

Foie gras served with its chutney and a golden brioche: a fine, soft and indulgent starter, in the purest French tradition.

Wagyu carpaccio

Thin slices of wagyu, mushrooms and parmesan shavings: the finesse of raw meat, seasoned just right, for the connoisseurs.

Burrata & tartare

Smoked burrata with cherry tomatoes, or knife-cut Angus beef tartare: freshness on one side, character on the other.

The salads

Freshness
to begin with

For a lighter start, the salad earns its place. Crisp Caesar salad, prawn rolls, marinated octopus or an avocado-and-salmon rosette: fresh, colourful plates that wake the palate without spoiling the appetite.

Have them as a starter to launch the meal, or as a main for a lighter weekend lunch. Fresh produce, generous portions: here, the salad is never a supporting role.

The craft

The produce first,
the gesture after

What reaches the table has first been chosen with care: fresh produce, prepared to order, plated with the same standards as the great cuts of meat. It is here, from the very first course, that the journey begins — the bridge between the French table and the oriental flavours at the heart of the house.

Frequently asked

Starters & salads, in practice

What starters does L'Entrecôte de Dubaï offer?

The menu is generous with starters: foie gras and its chutney, wagyu carpaccio, honey-roasted camembert, smoked burrata, Angus beef tartare or gratinated mussels — between French tradition and oriental flavours.

Are there salads at the restaurant?

Yes. Caesar salad, prawn rolls, marinated octopus or an avocado-and-salmon rosette: fresh plates that work as a starter or a lighter main, especially at weekend lunch.

Can I have a salad as a main course at lunch?

Absolutely. Our salads are generous enough to make a light lunch, served on Saturday and Sunday midday. In the evening, they gladly open the meal before the meat.

Do you offer starters to share?

Several starters lend themselves to sharing — smoked burrata, foie gras with brioche, carpaccio. Ideal for a table that likes to nibble and taste everything before the main.

Are there meat-free options among the starters?

Yes. Honey-and-thyme roasted camembert, smoked burrata with cherry tomatoes or the avocado-and-salmon rosette make lovely beef-free starters, alongside the fresh salads.

Do I need to book to dine at the restaurant?

Booking is strongly recommended, especially in the evening and at the weekend. It takes a few clicks online or a phone call, and lets us prepare your table in Plan de Campagne.
